An opportunity to apply for the Team Assistant post has become available, the post holder would be working with the Cardiothoracic transplant team at the Freeman Hospital.
The Team Assistants main role is to organise and facilitate the smooth running of the nationally recognised heart and lung transplant assessment service. The post holder will work closely with Transplant Co-ordinator, Nurse Specialists and medical staff within the team working Monday to Friday. Your role will be to ensure that routine investigations are performed and recorded using the online transplantation documentation, assisting in transplant clinics.

Previous experience within this type of role is preferable but not essential as training will be provided. Phlebotomy, data input and ECG recording experience would be highly desirable and computer skills are required for the role. We feel that the successful candidate will be organised, able to prioritise, multitask to meet the frequently changing needs the role that this post offers.
