Are you a qualified School Nurse?

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) have full time and part time SCPHN posts available including a term time only position. The posts are based in various areas of West Sussex.

As a qualified School Nurse, you will work as part of a 5-19 Healthy Child Programme (HCP) skill mix team, offering the 5-19 HCP to children, young people and their families, working closely with schools and West Sussex County Council's Early Help services. You will be involved in the development of a revised school nursing service, overseeing the 5-19 work for Staff Nurses, Community Nursery Nurses and School Health Assistants.

High quality clinical and safeguarding supervision is valued, and is delivered by the 5-19 team leads. SCFT 5-19 teams use CHAT Health, have recently had Emotional Health & Wellbeing updates; SCFT offers staff a wide range of professional development opportunities.
