We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and organized nurse to join the Intervention service of the Heart Division. The role will involve interacting with a variety of people within the organization, as you will be providing expert clinical support to the clinical staff across our 4-specialist cardiac/cardiorespiratory wards and 1 day-case unit in the Royal Brompton Hospital. You will also be working alongside the senior nursing team, management and medical staff in an outpatient capacity, in clinics relating to current service provision requirements.

This role will require you to be adaptive and be able to work both on the clinical floor, as well as be office based at times.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent interpersonal skills, proactive, be caring, strong communication and clinical skills, excellent attention to detail and significant experience in interventional cardiology, both coronary and valve disease . you must also be able to work proactively and use your own initiative. The candidate should have excellent IT skills and be able to utilise trust databases and trouble shoot where required. A flexible approach to work will be essential in these constantly developing and adapting services.
