We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative qualified Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to join our team in providing high quality services to older people within the Guildford and Waverley area of Surrey. The post will be split across two localities (Guildford 0.4 wte and Godalming 0.6 wte).

This exciting role will involve working autonomously in conducting detailed assessment and formulation, therapeutic intervention and neuropsychological assessments, covering both functional and organic problems for people living in the local community.

As a senior Psychologist you will be using leadership skills to support the development of Psychology provision across the SW Surrey sector, supporting teams in embedding psychosocial approaches within everyday practice and working closely with locality leads to support the development and delivery of effective and efficient services.

 

You will be supporting and supervising more junior Psychology staff, including assistants and trainees from the University of Surrey, where we have strong links with the clinical course. There will be opportunities to lead on quality improvement projects and to contribute to the development of psychology provision across older people’s services.

 

You will be working collaboratively with members of well-established multi-disciplinary teams, where psychology is highly valued. You will be well supported within the psychology team, where CPD and staff support are highly valued. For further details please contact:

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
