Endocrinology Fellow

Are you a junior doctor who has completed Foundation training?

We welcome your application for the post of Endocrine Fellow to start in August 2020.

Whatever direction your career takes you in the future, it is likely that some experience in Endocrinology will be relevant and useful. The Christie is the largest single site cancer treatment centre in Europe and a teaching hospital of the University of Manchester. We were recently rated ‘Outstanding’ in a CQC inspection.

This post offers an excellent learning opportunity. You will participate in the management of endocrine patients between 9 and 5, and out-of-hours will be involved in the care of oncology in-patients, acting as the equivalent of a CMT.

You will be working in a supportive environment, alongside CMT and ST Doctors. We are interested in your development during your time with us; you will be encouraged to attend educational lectures, meetings and seminars, and undertake a piece of audit/research during your tenure.

Salary will be on the Fixed Term Specialty Registrar pay scale ranging from £32,478 - £42,969 per annum.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
