Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a passion for delivering high quality care within a community setting.

Community and healthcare experience is desirable but not essential as preceptorship is offered and tailored to your needs, helping to build your confidence, knowledge and skills within the community setting. As a Trust we are committed everyone’s professional development, offering a wide range of programmes and study opportunities designed to expand your knowledge and skills as well as facilitating opportunities for career development.

We are looking for a Band 3 HCA to join our highly skilled Community Nursing team at Brighton General Hospital or Hove Polyclinic, and support the delivery of holistic health and social care to patients within our community.

As part of an integrated service you will have access to a variety of specialist services and disciplines which are essential to our care delivery. You will share responsibility for a caseload of patients supported by a Case Manager and as part of the wider team you will benefit from the varied skills and experience the Community Nursing team have to offer. You will be required to work autonomously but will have access to support where necessary to ensure quality care delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for a career within healthcare or an existing Band 3 HCA who wants to develop their clinical knowledge and practice within the community.

Please specify within your application which location is preferable. You will be invited to a group interview session and be selected for a 1-1 interview, should you get through the first round.
