A vacancy has arisen for a Band 5 post within the Private consulting rooms at the Harefield Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The department provides outpatient care for adult and paediatric patients. We have three consulting rooms and approximately forty Consultant users.

There is dedicated echo suite and non- invasive cardiology service within the department.

We work closely with our Medical Consultants, administrators and multidisciplinary teams in order to provide a high standard of service and care to all our patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to join our busy team. The role is varied and interesting, supporting a number of routine and ad-hoc clinic sessions, in addition to managing nurse-led clinics and new initiatives within the department.

The successful applicant should have at least 2 year’s post registration experience, six months of which should preferably be in a cardiothoracic environment. The post holder should be familiar with the nursing duties and processes involved in an outpatient nursing setting. You should have proven phlebotomy skills and be flexible in your approach to working practices and schedules.
