Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist

We are looking for a team player to join our department on a permanent basis. Applications are invited from experienced physiologists to become a member of the Neurophysiology team at a Band 7 level. The Neurophysiology Dept is aiming to recruit two members of staff to the team, in order to grow the overall size of the team to meet the Neurosciences Directorate's long term objectives

The Neurophysiology Dept. is a busy, friendly team which consists of 5 Consultant Neurophysiologists, 5 Physiologists, a Health Care Assistant and 2 Medical Secretaries.

The dept. provides routine, sleep deprived and portable EEG’s on patients of all ages, Multi-modality Evoked Potentials, Video-Telemetry, Nerve Conduction Studies and Magnetic Stimulation. Epilepsy Surgery is performed in the unit.

The successful candidate will be involved in performing EEG, EP , NCV work and video-telemetry.

Physiologists are encouraged to continue their own professional development.

There are excellent academic opportunities in the London area.

Candidates should have a minimum of ECNE Board Part1/BSc Hon Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent and appropriate post graduate experience and RCCP Registration.
