The Royal Brompton Hospital invasive cardiology suites are comprised of 5 cardiac catheter labs, and a hybrid theatre, providing you the opportunity to work at the forefront of cardiac research & treatment.

We currently undertake over 5000 cases per annum. It is an interesting & varied environment that caters for the following procedures:

    • Diagnostic cardiac angiography;
    • Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI);
    • Electrophysiology studies (EPS) & intervention;
    • Device implants including Bi-ventricular pacemakers (CRT-P & -D) and implantable defibrillators;
    • A full range of diagnostic & interventional procedures for paediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease;
    • Valvular intervention, including TAVI, TMVI, and Mitraclip;
    • Other Hybrid, including TEVAR/EVAR;
    • Endovascular; and
    • Other Interventional Radiology.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a suitably qualified registered nurse to complement our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Previous catheter laboratory or theatre experience would be desirable, and participation in the on-call rota is essential.
