If so… then the role of Clinical Operations Manager may be for you. We have an exciting opportunity on a permanent basis covering the Oxfordshire area – This is a key leadership role in managing the local Urgent & Emergency service delivery.

 

You will support the Head of Operations in Oxfordshire and Director of Operations in the realisation of the Trust’s Strategies, Vision and Values, supporting the delivery of high quality patient focussed care, in a safe and sustainable way, within the locality.

 

The Clinical Operations Manager will, under the direction of the Head of Operations, be responsible for the management of the Team Leaders to provide management, leadership and direction for the locality, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively in response to service delivery needs, and to ensure the service achieves the national standards and quality requirements, and other key performance indicators agreed locally with service commissioners and system partners, working collaboratively with local with health and social care partners, agreeing and delivering services that meet local needs.

 

The successful post holder will have:

 

  • Relevant operational management experience in an operational function.

  • Experience of managing change programmes within their area or expertise.

  • Experience of operational planning, objective setting and performance management.

  • Experience of working with stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams within the healthcare economy including formal presentations as and when required.

  • Budget management experience.

  • Demonstrable experience of working with data and business intelligence systems, being able to convert the information into actions adapted to the audience being engaged.

 

This role will require working with the leadership team to build capability and capacity across the team. Commitment to your own ongoing personal and professional development is essential and should be demonstrated in your application.
