Applications are invited for a Full time (10 PA) Locum Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist for 6 months with a possibility of an extension, to join a thriving and dynamic multidisciplinary paediatric Gastroenterology team. This post has arisen following the retirement of Professor Sandhu with the intention of a FT Substantive Consultant Post to be advertised in the near future. This locum post will be available to start anytime.

He/she must possess CCT in general paediatrics and have undergone at least 2 years sub-specialty training in paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology & nutrition. He/she must be trained in diagnostic endoscopy and be able to operate independently. However other experienced consultants in the department are keen to support ongoing development of a new colleague and support transition to the consultant role. Enthusiasm and flexibility of working within a progressive team with vision of delivering high quality service to patients within our large geographical region within South West clinical network is essential.
