Vaccination UK are the NHS commissioned provider of the School Aged Immunisation Programme across London. We are looking to recruit skilled and experienced administrators to support our nursing teams in the delivery of the school aged Imunisation programme.

The position of Schools Immunisation Administrator is a varied role in a busy team. Although some of the work is office based this role does require a great deal of interaction with the clients we service. You will be in regular communication with schools, nurses, and the other members of the team. You will also spend a lot of time interacting with nervous, sometimes lively children. The team is small and so responsibilities are shared. There is never a dull day.

Travel is an integral part of the job as visits to school are essential and frequent.Therefore own transport is essential

Responsibilities Will include:

  • Liaise with schools to arrange vaccination sessions and update calendars accordingly.·

  • Visit schools to deliver and collect consent forms.·

  • Scrutinise collected consent forms to ensure accurate information has been obtained in order that vaccinations can take place.·

  • Attend schools to manage the running of vaccination sessions. Administration staff may be required to transport documents to and from school sessions.·

  • Accurately record data from vaccination sessions and report this to management.·

  • Monitor levels of stock.·

  • Responding to queries from schools & parents.·

  • Keeping track of fire alarm tests and evacuations

There will be substantial access to children; therefore, a Disclosure and Barring check will be required and sign up to the update service is part of our requirements.
