We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our vibrant and developing neurology team to work as an epilepsy nurse specialist. Induction, training and support will be provided depending on experience. It is an expectation of the role that the successful applicant would be a non-medical prescriber or willing to undertake the academic prescribing course.

We are looking for a registered nurse with vision and passion to deliver excellent neurology care . The successful candidate will need to be innovative and passionate about making a difference to patient care and be active in improving patient pathways.

As a band 6/7 Epilepsy Nurse Specialist. You would be acting as an expert resource in epilepsy. Working closely with patients, carers, neurologists, all hospital staff, general practitioners, therapists and other stake holders across secondary and primary care. The role will include face to face, telephone clinics, and ward referrals.

The successful candidate will be well supported within their role and have the opportunity to develop leadership, management and service improvement skills and the ability to try out new ideas.
