Appointment Centre Manager – Band 6, full time

37.5 hours-Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Appointments Centre team based at Ashford Hospital as the Appointment Centre Manager.

The full-time role will be to manage the Appointment Centre with clear leadership and objectives in accordance with the Trust and Divisional strategy, ensuring the efficient running of the outpatient booking and patient registration function. The post holder will work closely with the Outpatient Services Manager and Divisional Service Managers to ensure that clinic capacity in monitored and maintained in accordance with the 18 week referral to treatment target. The role will also ensure that the clinical requirements of Cancer Two Week Referrals (TWR) for patients are booked accordingly. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven track record of operational leadership, service improvement and team player abilities to for fill this role.
