Applications are invited for this post in the department of Gynaecological-oncology surgery at the largest single site cancer hospital in Europe. The Christie Cancer Centre serves a population of 3 million within the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Cancer Network, providing surgery, radiotherapy and complex chemotherapy services.

This post is a Fellowship designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge and hands on experience in gynecological-oncology surgery. The post holder will be expected to assist in theatre on a regular basis in open, laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

The job plan will include theatre, outpatient and participate in MDT’s, actively participate in clinical research and in the surgical educational activities at the Christie.

The appointment will be for fixed term 12 months contract to start immediately.

The salary is payable in line with NHS experience, non-NHS experience is at the discretion of the Trust upon request. The base salary currently ranges between £32,478 - £42,969 per annum (pro rata). Candidates at post-CCT / post-FRCR level will be considered up to £51,069 per annum (pro rata) dependent upon experience.
