Partnering Health Group are an established and expanding healthcare organisation responsible for providing a variety of urgent and primary health care services across Hampshire.

An ideal opportunity for a Service Manager – Primary Care Community Services,this is a temporary role, up to 6 months, to join our Head Office in Whiteley.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, people focused, flexible individual with primary care experience, ideally in a managerial role, to get involved with an established healthcare provider to deliver new primary care community-based services in the Hampshire area.

The post holder will primarily be accountable for managing such new initiatives within Hampshire within the Primary Care arm of PHL, with the scope of adding more services should the need arise in the months ahead.

As a Service Manager at Partnering Health Limited (PHL), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a daytime home visiting service, as well as a co-ordination service for the whole Hampshire area.

Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with local Healthcare Provider partners and commissioners, to ensure the smooth delivery of a daytime Home Visiting service
  • Work collaboratively with local commissioners to ensure the smooth delivery of a co-ordination service, which co-ordinates the RAG status of all primary care practices within Hampshire, to deliver a county-wide sit rep for commissioner information and resilience planning
  • Will use their knowledge of Primary Care to support the mobilisation of new services and initiatives
  • Oversee rota management of their services, ensuring costs are within budget, and that rota fill is maximised
  • Support the Service Clinical Leadership team in their roles, where they are accountable for all clinical decisions, issues and incidents (including SIRI) and complaints, managing stakeholder relations wherever necessary
  • Attend monthly Governance Meetings, along with Clinical Lead, ensuring that the service delivers against its clinical governance and CQC requirements and keeping the risk register up to date.

Service Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience as a manger within a Primary Healthcare environment
  • Aware of the Health Economy, and how the Primary Care landscape fits together, encompassing all community partners and services
  • Must be an excellent communicator, able to rise to the challenge of meeting the needs of external stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  • Can demonstrate achievement against KPIs
  • Able to travel independently to other sites if required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365

Location

The role will be based at Whiteley, however home working will be considered due to the current COVID pandemic. The post holder will also be required travel for external client meetings, so it is essential to have their own car.
