Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust serves 530,000 people living throughout the areas of North Tyneside and Northumberland. The Trust is made up of Wansbeck General Hospital, North Tyneside General Hospital, Hexham General Hospital and several community sites including Blyth Community Hospital, Morpeth Cottage Hospital, Alnwick Infirmary, Rothbury Cottage Hospital, and Haltwhistle Hospital. We also provide Community Services, including District Nurses to our local population.

We require reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurses to join our Staff Nurse Bank SPECIFICALLY FOR HALTWHISTLE AND HEXHAM HOSPITALS. You will be expected to provide high standards of care to those patients accessing our services and embrace our trust values. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a flexible approach to your work.

Essential Criteria

  • 1st Level live NMC registered Nurse
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary nursing issues
  • Ensuring the delivery of ‘Compassion in Practice’- Nursing, Midwifery and Care Staff Vision and Strategy incorporating the 6C’s

Desirable Criteria

  • PP126/7
  • D32/33
  • Post Registration qualification in specialty
  • Diploma/degree in nursing
