MHC are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to undertake housekeeping duties on a part time basis.

It will be the post holder's responsibility to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, maintain and follow a rota, and agree a timetable with the manager

You will also be responsible for keeping records of cleaning products and equipment with taking responsibility in maintaining the equipment.

The successful applicant will be working alongside service users, therefore good interpersonal skills will be essential. You will need to be enthusiastic, ambitious and provide flexibility and adaptability.

Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

You don't necessarily have to have experience, but being able to work on your own initiative, multitask and have a high degree of organisational skills will be beneficial.

A good knowledge of COSHH, infection control and knowledge of Health & Safety is highly desirable.

Skills: Good knowledge of COSHH as well as environmental Health & Safety. Good communication skills to enable them to interact with the type of clients that we have. Excellent organisation and planning.

About the Service: Meols drive is a residential nursing service for individuals living with a borderline to moderate learning disability. Care and rehabilitation is delivered with an active support, positive behavioural support and person centred approach to enhance opportunities for individuals to live as independently as possible. The home offers an enhanced living environment having recently undergone a full internal refurbishment.
