Clinical Team Leader – Anderson House – IAPT Service

Trent PTS provides NHS psychological services (IAPT) across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We have ambitious plans to expand our teams to meet continued demand. Within Nottinghamshire, we have teams in Nottingham city centre who work in dedicated psychotherapy centres providing all IAPT approved treatment modalities being closely aligned to GP practices and university health services. We also have teams in Bingham, Bramcote and Bilborough.

Anderson House is a well-established base of two clinical teams delivering CBT and counselling interventions. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work alongside the existing Team Leader, managing your own team of clinicians. All our therapists have a dedicated room, efficient data management systems and administrative support available, all underpinning our expert clinical services. Alongside clinic-based working, we are supporting access and choice through the use of digital technologies.

Trent PTS is singularly focused on achieving remarkable outcomes for our local populations. We are an organisation that is dynamic, agile and dedicated to helping our staff reach and exceed their potential. We have an active continuing professional development programme which is currently being further refreshed and we are keen to further increase its emphasis on clinical skills development. Clinical supervision and supervisor groups are at the centre of our clinical governance process, along with partnership developments and creating pathways for vulnerable populations. In the near future we will be developing a leadership programme for career development in our expanding business.

We are seeking a strong leader to drive the business locally, to work alongside their Team leader colleague, supporting and developing the clinical team and create great working relationships with our external partners. This role might be of interest to those looking for a change and are interested in moving to Nottingham or to those who may be local but like the idea of working for an IAPT led progressive business.

Salary: AFC Band 8a - £45,753

All staff are expected to offer at least one evening clinic, working 12.00 noon to 8pm.

In addition to ensuring our employees feel valued, appreciated and supported, we offer:

  • A competitive salary with regular pay reviews in line with Agenda for Change
  • Eligibility to join the NHS Pension Scheme
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 27 annual leave days rising to 29 days after 5 years’ service and 33 days after 10 years’ service, plus bank holidays
  • Recognition of NHS length of service relating to annual leave entitlement
  • Investment in training to support and develop you
  • Free eye test

Trent Psychological Therapies Service is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates, regardless of sex, race, disability, age, religion/belief or marital status.
