An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Facilities Services, working within the catering service department. The successful candidates will assist in the management of the commercial catering outlets and ensure a high quality food service is delivered through a highly motivated team.

The hours of work are :- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 15:00pm

As part of this role the successful candidate will provide café / restaurant food service with a varied menu and assist in the preparation of balanced meals taking into consideration dietary requirements. They will assist the manager to train and motivate the catering team in all aspects of the role, including food preparation and service.

We are looking for individuals who have a good knowledge and understanding of food safety as well as sound catering experience. The successful candidates will possess an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and have relevant City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications. Good communication skills and excellent customer service is of paramount importance so we are looking for individuals who have a professional approach as well as being enthusiastic and well organised.
