    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of Epilepsy Specialist Nurses. The team provides expert care to people with epilepsy in the hospital and community setting. The nurses provide support along the whole patient pathway from diagnosis to management of a long term condition. This includes symptom management, lifestyle advice, and medicine management.

    Applicants should be dynamic and motivated and ready to take on a new challenge. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as they will be providing support, education and specialist advice to patients, carers and health professionals. They should be able to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. The expectation would be to undertake Independent Nurse Prescribing and to develop nurse consultations skills.


You must have appropriate post-registration experience and be able to provide evidence of relevant practice. Experience in management of working with people with long term conditions is essential.
