Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner (Secondment May 2020 –March 2021)

An exciting temporary position opportunity has opened up within the North East Wales CAMHS team.

The current band 6 post (dependent upon experience) will be based in Flintshire CAMHS and will join our clinical team providing assessment and interventions for children and young people.

We are looking for a practitioner who can work flexibly across these different areas of the service with the enthusiasm needed to engage a wide range of children, young people, their families and other professionals in meeting their diverse needs. You must be a registered professional with a relevant governing body (NMC, Social Care Wales or health professionals council) and be able to deliver mental health assessments (compliant with The Mental Health Measure Wales 2010) and evidence based interventions for children and young people.

Experience of working in the community with children and young people/adults who are displaying a range of risk type behaviours, complex mental health needs and complex family situations would be an advantage.

The service operates 7 day working and the willingness and ability to work across the service hours is essential.
