We are looking to recruit an energetic Deputy Manager to join our team at Oakwood, one of our social care homes based in Caterham.

The home supports 9 gentlemen who have a range of sensory impairments, behaviours that can challenge and complex social needs.

Our staffing team are dedicated to ensuring that all people’s needs are cared for with compassion and respect. People who live at the home benefit from meaningful and enjoyable activities, as well as socialising with their peers. Accessing the community is a valuable part of their lives and willingness to drive the home's vehicles is a desirable part of this role.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who can work flexible within our service. Who can lead, mentor and develop the team by providing safe and effective leadership as directed by the Home Manager.

The ideal candidates will preferably have experience of supporting and caring for people with a learning disability and leading a team in the absence of a manager. You must also have a general understanding of information technology, as part of your role will involve you to use computers to access, input data as well as completing various training requirements.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
