Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


Healthy Together Clinical Team Leaders

Melton and Rutland 0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing Service

North Charnwood 0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing Service

Leicester City 5-19 School Nursing Service

Healthy Together is the name for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust's (LPT) public health services for family, children and young people aged 0-19 and their families. It includes health visiting and school nursing services.

As a team leader, you will be able to see what needs doing and have the skills to work with others to do it.Together we are all leaders at LPT, we all have a voice and can take responsibility to lead the way whatever our role.

You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all elements of the day-to-day operational functioning of your neighbourhood team; ensuring that arrangements are in place to sustain and develop the directorate's neighbourhood model of integrated multi-agency and multidisciplinary working.

A forward thinking pragmatist, you will be able to develop people and teams and be willing to try new things. We are also looking for someone who is innovative and has the ability to engage our practitioners to lead our friendly child focused teams, by instilling a culture of continuous quality improvement.

We believe that if we care for our people they are better able to care for our children and families and we want you to embody that ethos.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, which is evolving continuously to meet the needs of our service users and community. Two posts are available to lead 0-19 health visiting and school nursing services.

The third post is new and we are specifically looking for a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – School Nurse to lead the 5-19 school nursing service in Leicester City.

If you think you can be accountable for the leadership, management, co-ordination and development of a team of practitioners across the 0-19 age range to deliver the Healthy Child Programme agenda then we would like to talk to you.

You will be supported by an able and experienced leadership team and great administrative staff.
