‘A Centre of Excellence Providing High Quality Care in Partnership with You’

Woodgrange Medical Practice

40 Woodgrange Road, Forest Gate, London E7 0QH

CQC Outstanding GP Practice looking for a Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week

Woodgrange Medical Practice is a well organised, efficient Practice, with a list size of 16000 and growing. We are based in a spacious converted bank, which has had several extensions to provide a comfortable and modern clinical environment. There are excellent transport links and we are close to the Olympic Park and Westfield shopping Centre.

As an innovative and forward-looking practice we are always looking to improve the way we deliver care. As a result we have been recipients of several national awards such as the RCGP’s best clinical innovation and Pulse magazine's diabetic clinical team of the year, runner-up.

We have a strong ethos of teaching and training and you will be welcomed into our large Primary Care team of 13 Doctors, GPSi in Dermatology/surgery, 4 Practice Nurses , 2 HCA’s, Diabetic Nurse Specialist, 3 Pharmacists and 16,000 patients and you will instantly become a valued member of the team.

Every clinical and administrative member of staff is encouraged to develop professionally. The doctors have been supported and encouraged to specialise; each has their own interest e.g. Substance Misuse, Mental Health, Dermatology, Minor surgery, Paediatrics and Women’s health.

Although a large organisation the whole team really is a happy family. We respect, listen to and value every member of staff, as each has an important role to play in the organisation.

Once a month, we have a whole Practice lunch where we can all get together. Educational meetings occur every week with lectures provided by in house or external speakers. We also have weekly clinical meetings to discuss hot topics, difficult cases and notices.

To start as soon as possible.

The remuneration package is attractive and includes indemnity fees, 6 weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata.

If you want to be part of a well organised, friendly, supportive, training practice providing high quality care then please apply online.

For an informal chat with one of the partners, Dr Parmar or Naqvi please phone 020 8221 3127.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require current Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the current Resident Labour Market Test which will be in place until the end of December 2020. UK Visas and Immigration requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) are also subject to this requirement.
