Arden & GEM’s Business Intelligence Service is looking for an experienced professional, who can lead a team of commissioning analysts to support the delivery of a dynamic analysis service, helping customers to meet their strategic and operational objectives. This fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with experience of working with NHS datasets and a high level of expertise in information analysis, manipulation and presentation utilising tools such as SQL and Excel. As a customer facing role excellent communication skills and experience of customer relationship management are essential.

The role sits within a national business intelligence service, providing support to NHS England across the direct commissioned service portfolio. This post will oversee the delivery of exploratory contract analysis, directing a small team of analysts to investigate key lines of enquiry and identify drivers of unwarranted variation in data. The team will also provide analysis to support financial recovery programmes, Improving Value schemes, QIPP, clinical service reviews and other regional and national priorities. Supporting the South East Regional NHS England and Improvement Commissioning Team the role can be based at either York House, Horley or Oakley Road, Southampton, with some travel between sites required. The successful candidate will form a key part of a fully embedded team, delivering a high quality, responsive and efficient service, supporting customer objectives through delivery of analysis and insight.
