Assistant Healthcare Support Workers – Band 2

 

An excellent opportunity has come up for experienced healthcare support workers to join our team on Critical Care.

Do you enjoy working in a highly specialised and fast paced environment as part of a large multi-professional team?

We are looking for dynamic and experienced healthcare support workers who are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. You should have excellent communication skills and enjoy team working. Your role is essential in supporting the staff and patients on Critical Care and will be varied including cleaning and maintaining specialist equipment, collecting stock, running blood samples, ensuring the environment is clean, tidy and well prepared, transferring critically ill patients and assisting the nursing staff in providing essential nursing care.

A full educational program is in place to support your learning, development and specialist knowledge and skills required in this area. This will consist of study several HCSW study days, simulation and electronic resources. Our dedicated Critical Care education team consists of nurses and experienced healthcare support workers to welcome you to the area and support your progression. We are also committed to supporting your personal and professional development with many opportunities to further develop your skills available.
