IT Service Desk Analyst

Salary: £24,907 to £30,615 pa

Essential Requirements: Knowledge of a range of IT areas equivalent to degree or equivalent level or relevant experience.

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust provides secondary care for Harrogate and District, North and West Leeds and community services across North Yorkshire, County Durham and Middlesbrough with 5,000 staff working out of multiple Trust sites. These consist of a District General Hospital, Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, Community Hospital and numerous Health and Children’s Centres across North Yorkshire, County Durham and Middlesbrough.

• support the quality and safety of care for patients

• provide high quality, timely and meaningful information to support and enable the effective management and delivery of high quality clinical practice and corporate support

• provide a robust fit for purpose network infrastructure that enables clinical and corporate services to execute their duties efficiently and effectively

• provide procurement and system implementation support through effective and efficient programme and project management

The Trust is seeking to recruit an IT Service Desk Analyst to provide support to users of IT systems and services in the organisation, including receiving and resolving requests for support and providing where appropriate, some technical fault diagnosis, advice and guidance.

You will support the use of hardware, software and telecommunications in the organisation, including providing high level onsite and remote IT technical liaison and support to computer users across the full lifecycle of incidents and problems. The role involves close working with all teams within the IT function and throughout the wider organisation, ensuring a quality client-focused service is delivered to users and providing first line support to users of IT systems and services across the organisation.
