POST: Masters of Pharmacy Graduate

SALARY: Agenda for Change – Band 6, range £31,365 - £37,890per annum

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (wte) - applications for full time and part time posts considered.

Primary Integrated Community Services are an innovative and rapidly expanding primary care organisation and are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Masters of Pharmacy Graduate to work at Eastwood Primary Care Centre.

These services are provided in a range of settings including people’s own homes and GP surgeries. Our focus is on delivering all care as close to home as possible.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The launch of the new Five Year GP contract by NHS England emphasises the importance of Pharmacy related activity in Primary Care.

Eastwood Primary Care Centre (EPCC), which serves a population of 20,000 patients, has an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated pharmacist to support the Primary Care Pharmacist and General Practice clinicians at EPCC.

We are seeking applications from highly motivated and personable Master of Pharmacy Graduates interested in forging and developing their career in primary care and healthcare systems locally.

For the right aspiring candidate the role could lead to a position within the newly formed Primary Care Networks, with potential support to undertake a clinical diploma and independent prescribing in the future.

Full induction will be provided and applicants should be prepared to undertake any necessary training required.
