About the Role: We have a vacancy for you to join an existing highly experienced, person centred and friendly, compassionate team, supporting individuals with a mental health conditions, learning disability and autism to lead a full and meaningful life. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, share your experiences and really make a difference to the lives of those we support.

If you are ready for an exciting and varied role where you may; support patients within both of our Independent Hospitals; assist the patients to engage in meaningful therapeutic activities and therapies; learn new skills this may be through in house or local colleges or getting out and about visiting family and places of interest, enjoying hobbies, leisure interests and much more besides then we would like to hear from you.

It may be that you want a change, fresh start, or just want to bring your skills to Team MHC, where at the same time you can benefit from support and guidance from the highly skilled management and clinical team. We want to hear from people who may already have experience as a support worker, healthcare assistant, carer as well as people who want to learn 'on the job'.

The ideal candidate for this post will possess a non-judgmental, empathetic and supportive attitude, have good verbal and non-verbal communication skills and be keen to learn and develop as part of the team. Within this role you will need an understanding of, professional boundaries, team working, confidentiality, safeguarding policies and procedures, motivation skills, be self-motivated, flexible and organised.

About the Services: Situated 5 miles from Wrexham, New Hall Independent Hospital provides three wards for individuals living with complex and enduring mental disorders, autism and learning disabilities.
St David's independent hospital stands by the banks of the River Dee and within walking distance of the small village of Carrog - A picturesque part of North Wales. The service provides open rehabilitation and treatment for individuals diagnosed with a learning disability and/ or additional complex needs including autism and mental health needs.
Both services support males aged 18 years plus.
