City Health Care Partnership is an innovative, award winning organisation, at the forefront of change and keen to recruit the very best people to develop its services. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic receptionist to work with us.

The practices’ provide services for a diverse population, therefore it is essential that you are able to communicate sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and those whose first language may not be English.

Duties will include performing reception duties, booking appointments, inviting patients to clinics, chaperoning and recording patient information etc,.

You should ideally have an understanding of the General Practice environment and excellent communication skills. A good standard of general education, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English Language qualifications are essential, together with IT skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The post holder will need to be flexible in their approach to working, as staff move between all APMS practices’ for training and personal development as well as covering periods of absence. Our service is open 7 days a week 8am to 8pm 365 days a year and successful candidates will be required to work shifts within these hours.

We currently have three vacancies available: 

  • ·       1 x 37.5hr  Receptionist post permanent
  • ·       1 x 37.5hr  Receptionist post 12 month temporary to cover maternity leave
  • ·       1 x 30hr     Receptionist post permanent
