Welsh Blood Service, Llantrisant - Needs You!

Role: Specialty Doctor in Transfusion Medicine


Hours: 8 sessions

Tenure: Temporary Six Months

Salary: (£40,233 - £75,025 Per annum - pro rata part-time staff)

Are you currently retired / not working and would like an opportunity to work within our Clinical Services Team at Welsh Blood Services, Talbot Green, Llantrisant? You will cover all medical aspects of Donor Care, Hospital Liaison and provide Clinical Transfusion Advice. The exact work and job plan will be flexible to allow the successful candidate to make best use of their previous knowledge and skills.

If you are available, we are looking to recruit paid staff on a short-term basis, during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, to assist the Welsh Blood Service within Velindre University NHS Trust to continue to provide high quality care and treatment to our donors and patients. It should be noted that there is no direct face to face contact with patients. All recruits will be provided with induction, relevant to the role.
