We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Advisor to join our Account Management team. You will be working as part of a wider team to support procurement partners in the NHS to assist in the delivery of savings. Being responsible for engaging with stakeholders and providing guidance and support to clinicians to review products.

What does a Clinical Nurse Advisor do at NHS Supply Chain?

  • Provides clinical guidance on product performance and cost to support clinicians in product selection
  • Engage stakeholders to support procurement partners and promote NHS Supply Chain
  • Sets up governance mechanisms to enable customers to run effective clinical evaluation to drive and implement savings opportunities.
  • Is the face of Supply Chain and provides unbiased opinion and updates on products
  • Work collaboratively with wider Account Management team to best support procurement partners in the NHS

What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?

You will have to have experience of working as a clinical nurse, managing a variety of stakeholders and providing opinion and guidance on NHS Supply Chain products.

To ensure that you can provide appropriate guidance you will need extensive knowledge of the supplier/Category Tower market and wider stakeholder groups.

Experience of working in multi-supplier service environments gained within NHS industry
