Looking for your first consultant post or a quality of life move to beautiful North Wales? We are looking for a colleague to join us – we are currently a team of 3 full time consultants, working in a loyal multidisciplinary team of 4 Dermatology Specialist nurses, 2 specialist registrars, a speciality doctor and experienced secretarial staff. The ethos of the Department is to provide high quality Dermatological care in a supportive environment and we take pride in our team and its development. The outpatient department in Glan Clwyd has recently undergone complete redevelopment and the working environment is first class. The post advertised is full time (10 sessions comprising 5 Clinical sessions, 2 Clinical administration sessions and 3 Supporting professional activities sessions) but this is negotiable for the right candidate.

The appointment will be under the terms of the Welsh consultant’s contract. The successful applicant will be welcomed to a friendly, enthusiastic and cohesive team delivering not only high quality clinical care but also provision of the North Wales Specialist Registrar training programme. There would also be opportunity to develop a special interest if this were desirable.

North Wales is a beautiful place to both work and live (although easy access to the motorway network means that commuting is an option) Where else could you surf on an indoor surf lagoon, climb a mountain and ride the world’s fastest zip wire in one day? If you are interested in joining our forward thinking team in this amazing part of the world, we would love to hear from you!
