CQC Compliance Manager

Band 8C (subject to AfC Banding)

In 2019 Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital Trust received a CQC rating of ‘good’. The Trust is committed to ensuring that the standard of care continues to improve with aspirations to becoming an ‘outstanding’ organisation.

We are looking to recruit an experienced compliance manager who will support the Trust in meeting CQC fundamental standards and other quality regulatory obligations. The successful applicant will report directly to the Deputy Chief Nurse working closely with a variety of disciplines across the Trust including the Executive Team. The successful applicant will act as the direct contact for the CQC and other regulatory authorities. The role will involve management of the risk function attached to CQC requirements and support the well led agenda in the move to outstanding.

Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the ‘Vulnerable Adults List’, the ‘Children’s List’ and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA’s) barred lists.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
