To assist with the support to our teams during COVID-19

A security officer role has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our security team. Main duties include the prevention of crime, Patrolling, securing buildings, monitoring CCTV, portering duties, car parking, some reception duties throughout the evening.

You must be flexible and able to priorities duties. You will have a professional and logical approach to your work, good time keeping, and a polite courteous manner, along with previous experience of working with people.

Previous experience of working within the security industry and hospital environment would be an advantage however in house training will be provided.

  • The ability to get on with people of all ages and backgrounds and gain their trust
  • Tact, patience and understanding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to cope with challenging situations and clients
  • SIA Licence.
  • CCTV Licence

Working shifts patterns are as follows;

Early 0700.15.00, late 15.00-23.00 & night shifts 23.00-07.00 of 7.5 hours including weekends. The shift pattern over a 5 week rotational period and include enhancements for unsociable hours. This will be to cover our Western Community Hospital & Adelaide Health Centre in Southampton.

Please note we are looking to hold interviews every week to support nurses in the current situation, therefore if shortlisted you will be called to interview before the closing date of this post.
