Medicine Management Technician Aseptic Services


Grade: Band 5 Salary: £24,214 - £30,112 Up to 37.5 hours



We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good interpersonal and organisational skills to work in our busy Aseptic unit within the pharmacy department at The Leicester Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and enjoy both an individual challenge and working as part of a friendly, dynamic team.

You must be a professional, registered Pharmacy Technician and hold the NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and have hospital or industry Aseptic experience.

Your duties will include aseptic preparation of products, working within a clean room environment, preparation and checking of documentation, stock control. To co-ordinate medicines supply activity at departmental level to ensure the patients whole treatment is supplied as one complete package. You will be part of the team ensuring that all work is completed by the deadlines assigned. Your duties will also include co-ordinating the day to day running of the unit and the supervision and training of all new staff within the unit in the absence of the Team Leader. All work will be carried out within the guidelines and standards for Good Manufacturing Practice.


You must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician to apply for this post. Applicants without this essential requirement should not apply and will not be shortlisted for interview.
