Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services

Controller / Planner- RESERVE POOL

Salary:            Band 3 £18,813 – £20,795 (pro rata for part time hours) plus any unsocial hours enhancements relevant to the post as per the NHS Terms & Conditions 2018

Hours:            37.5 hours per week

Base:              Frankley, B45 0LD & Coventry, CV2 5DB

West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is looking to build a reserve pool for the position of Controller / Planner for our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services Contracts in Frankley & Coventry.

You will plan, control & co-ordinate staff and resources on a daily basis to fulfil the non-emergency contract.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above including English & Maths and an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) along with a minimum of 12 months customer care experience.

Where a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for the post, applicants are required to cover the cost of the check. The cost (£49 for an enhanced check or £30 for a standard/basic check) is payable to our online provider at the time that the DBS application is submitted.
