Endoscopy are looking to recruit Staff Nurses to join their friendly team.

The Unit is JAG accredited, delivering a endoscopy service which includes Cancer Screening and a Bowel Scope Screening Programme. Staff are required to work flexibly to cover evenings and 7 day working. This very busy department provides care for both inpatients and outpatients.

You will be a First Level RGN with the relevant post registration experience within an acute environment. Recent experience in Endoscopy would be an advantage although a full induction programme will be given. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills together with high standards of clinical care and an ability to put patients at ease. You should be adaptable, having the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to improving standards of patient care. Nurses on the unit have an obligation to participate in an out of hours on call service for emergencies following training

You will have evidence of continued professional development and the requirement to develop the knowledge and skills required for this post.

This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there are likely to be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future.
