A new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated registered Nurse to join the Staff Bank Team to support the recruitment, education and practice development of Bank staff registered at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

UHL has over 5,000 Bank staff recruited to work across the Trust covering nursing, medical and administration posts. This diverse role will involve working within the Corporate Nursing team to support the Trust Education and Training strategy, to provide clinical and professional skills training and work alongside clinical Bank staff and be a lead for the management of their clinical performance. As part of your role you will also support the Temporary Staffing management team and act as a deputy for clinical issues within the team in the absence of the Nurse Bank manager.

As part of the Staff Bank Team, you will also be involved in new organisational initiatives, development programmes, recruitment and retention and Corporate Nursing projects and should therefore possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate vision and experience of working with initiatives in education and staff development, experience of implementing strategies and quality assurance processes with good organisation skills, influencing key stakeholders, and working to strict deadlines, IT skills, have the ability to deliver a high quality service and proven caseload management skills.
