Do you want to be part of an innovative team to make Leicester a centre of excellence for biologics prescribing?

We are looking for a motivated, efficient and resourceful pharmacist to join the current Biologics Support Team providing complete care for patients on biologics drugs.

The post will present the successful candidate the exciting opportunity to be part of this team working within and across specialities to deliver an optimised biologic service with UHL. This will be achieved through prescribing, involvement in multidisciplinary meetings and close collaboration with existing specialist teams in Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Dermatology.

The ideal candidate will be an independent prescriber with excellent communication skills, ability to adapt and manage change and with a keen eye for detail. There will be a need to capture and record all interventions to assure commissioners of the quality and cost effectiveness of the service. We are keen to improve the service even further and welcome someone with ideas for future development and initiatives.

University Hospitals of Leicester is one of the largest acute teaching hospitals in England and the second largest biologics centre in the country.
