Bank Band 5 Staff Nurses – for our Community Hospitals in Woking and Walton

We’re looking for caring Band 5 staff nurses to work as part of our supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary teams on our rehabilitation and sub-acute community wards. You’ll have a choice of hours and shifts to suit you: 7.15am-3.15pm, 1-9pm, 8.30pm-7.45am or long days 7.15am-9pm. School hour shifts also possible.

 

As a Staff Nurse you’ll be providing high quality nursing and rehabilitation care alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Care and Doctors, seeking to promote patients’ independence at every opportunity – so they are as independent as possible before they leave our care. You’ll have the chance to work autonomously for much of the time, with responsibility for making clinical decisions and judgements as part of the wider team.

 

Working in a community hospital means you’ll get the time to build relationships with patients and their families, involving them in their care and discharge plans.

Recruitment - Golden Hello

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in two instalments: - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation. These payments are pro-rata for part- time posts. Payments will be subject to tax and NI National Insurance in the usual way.We don’t operate Golden Hellos for Band 7 or Band 8 posts, Bank posts or fixed term contracts.
