Ward Sister / Charge Nurse, Ward 27, Glenfield Hospital

We are recruiting a Band 7 Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to manage Ward 27 Glenfield Hospital, a 27 bedded ward which cares for patients with cardio-vascular conditions with a focus on heart failure.

We are looking for a forward thinking, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with relevant years Band 6 experience, with evidence of leadership and management.

You must have a proven track record of progressive leadership and development. You should be an effective role model, self motivated with the passion, drive and adaptability to cope with the demands of this evolving service.

You should possess excellent communication skills, be visible and accessible with quality and standards as your priority. You will need to be flexible and resilient in order to cope with the demands of the role.

Successful applicants will be offered an induction programme to include attending the heart failure clinic, cardiac rehabilitation, angio catheter suite, vascular access service and observing the work of the multidisciplinary team.
