Are you an Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineer who has recently achieved or is working towards professional Chartered accreditation?

The Estates and Facilities management directorate at Sussex Community Foundation NHS Trust (SCFT) provide a range of professional and technical Estates and Facilities management services to the Trust and NHS Property Services across the whole of Sussex. The Trust provides a range of community health services from more than 100 premises located throughout Sussex.

We are seeking to recruit a professional Estates Compliance Engineer. This key role sits within the Asset Management team and provides compliance assurance against building and engineering statutory legislation and best practice compliance. This includes all aspects of building services including electrical, mechanical and public health reviewing and checking documentary evidence of compliance.

The Estates Compliance Engineer works closely with the Compliance Assurance Administrator providing guidance and interpretation of Healthcare Technical Memorandums (HTMs) and British Standards and Codes of Practice.
