This is an exciting volunteering opportunity to work in the gardens of either the Oaktree Lodge Memorial Hospital and Shepherdleas Ward Oxleas House, Stadium Road, Woolwich and various other Trust sites. You will be required to help maintain the gardens by planting new flowers and shrubs, also weeding and the general upkeep of the garden areas. You will be provided with any equipment needed and given any relevant training required. The gardens provide a relaxing and enjoyable space for our patients and staff. This position will e suitable for applicants who live locally with the Bexley and Greenwich Boroughs. Out of pocket expenses will be paid.

The Voluntary Service Department is part of the Trust and is situated in the Memorial Hospital and covers our elderly mental health patients and part of the adult mental health services in Greenwich. Volunteers are valued members of the Trust make a difference in many areas by supporting patients and staff in various ways. An opportunity has now arisen for a volunteer in the above post.
