An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced therapeutic radiographer to join the Radiotherapy department at the Royal Free London as the pre-treatment superintendent. We are looking for a candidate with proven team leadership and communication skills who will be responsible for the operational management of the pre-treatment area, ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources to ensure delivery of a high level of service and patient care whilst complying with national standards.

Successful applicants will have significant clinical and pre-treatment experience, be highly motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to developing themselves and helping develop our service. Successful candidates will be role models for demonstrating our Trust’s values through their leadership behaviours, working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and be committed to providing high quality patient care.

The Royal Free London is one of the largest and leading providers of cancer care in the UK. The Royal Free Radiotherapy Department has 2 Varian TrueBeams with Aria. There is an orthovoltage unit, a Toshiba CT-scanner, Pinnacle TPS, VMAT, IGRT, and respiratory gated radiotherapy. The department is accredited to both CHKS and ISO 9001:2015.
