Feel Proud

Both Sulis and Paulton are busy rehabilitation units. Sulis specialises in on-going stroke rehabilitation for the acute provider and boasts a specialist neurological team to support these patients. Paulton has speciality beds to accept patients directly from the community, bypassing the acute hospital.

 

Both wards are staffed with GPs with special interests and visiting consultants. We are proud of our quality care and innovative approach to service improvement, such as actively supporting a nationwide falls initiative.

 

As a Bank Nurse working for Virgin Care, you will work both independently and closely with our multi-disciplinary teams and be responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patients’ care. You will also put to use your strong communication and organisation skills which, along with a flexible approach, will ensure you deliver positive experiences to our patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

 

You will care for our patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better. We feel passionate that everyone should feel valued when they come into contact with our organisation, whether that’s you, someone we care for, or the wider community we operate in.

This benefits the health and care system in BaNES, as the Active Ageing team can now prescribe a wide range of identified equipment, which frees up health and social care Occupational Therapist's to do more complex client care.
