We have a new opportunity for a Band 3 Trainee Nursing Associate to join our community teams in Amber Valley.

This post is being advertised to support community teams at weekends. Therefore, the successful applicant must be available to work on a Saturday and Sunday, plus an additional day in the week.

You will be supported to develop and achieve competencies to provide individualised care to include complex, wound care regimes, catheterisation, venepuncture and medication administration as well as completing variousnursing assessments and following treatment regimes.

Working as a Trainee Nursing Associate, you will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care, putting patients at the heart of everything you do.

You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic.

For this role you will need to be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other staff and patients.

You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement; where patient welfare is at the heart of all you do.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.

The post holder will organise and prioritise their own day- to-day work tasks and activities and delegate tasks to junior colleagues.

The post holderwill be required to have access to a car to complete patient visits in the community settings.

The post holder may be required to work from different bases within the chosen locality.
