The role involves managing clinic reception ( Where applicable)
MSK Administrators undertake a multifunctional role combining a wide range of administration duties of which include EPR, E-referrals and ongoing communication with patients, Present a professional image, both in person and on the telephone at all times to ensure that attitudes and behaviours meet realistic expectations.
Collaborate with other MSK Administration staff in order to ensure cover is provided at all sites during periods of absence (ie Annual/Sick Leave) and ensure your Line Manager is informed accordingly.
In consultation with your Line Manager to be able to work flexibly to meet the variation in service demands.
Maintain core responsibilities within your role by continuing with your personal development and take an active part in learning opportunities

The candidate will need to:
Work as part of a team providing an admin support function for LCH within an agreed service area.
Be the first point of contact for service users signposting to appropriate departments. Ensuring all telephone calls are received and dealt with in a courteous and diplomatic manner.
To assist in maintaining service delivery create, manage and maintain electronic and paper based systems working within agreed guidelines. To provide appropriate cover if required within an agreed area to maintain service provision.
Have the ability to organise and plan to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Competent in the use of Microsoft office packages
Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work under pressure, dealing with peaks and troughs in workload.
Positive attitude to dealing with change; flexible and adaptable, willing to change and accept change and to explore new ways of doing things and approaches.
