Would you like a job that you enjoy, in a department where people strive to provide excellent quality care? Applications are invited for the position of LAS FY2 at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a replacement one year fixed term post in Elderly Medicine. The postholder will be part of the tier 3 full shift rota, covering 09:00-17:00, 09:00-21:30 and 21:00-09:30 shifts.

Our elderly care team consists of 8 consultants supported by a team of juniors and experienced ACPs who provide care across 2 elderly care wards. We also provide an Acute Frailty Service which we are currently expanding to support Acute Frailty earlier in the patients pathway to improve outcomes for our elderly population.

Harrogate tops a recent small trust research league table, and research interests are supported by a team of dedicated research nurses.

The Trust has an excellent Postgraduate Medical Centre which carries a full programme of events including and offers access to a Medical Library and a Clinical Skills Lab with high fidelity simulation facilities. The post is non-training; however, opportunities for development will be available.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
